Jeremy O’Brian was framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Resigned to a life of imprisonment, he still kept in contact with his beloved wife and child, his only hope that he would somehow be released early for good behavior. In the chaos following a mysterious prison explosion/fire, Jeremy survived somehow, following a fellow inmate on the path to freedom. He knew his family were waiting for him. He knew he would see them again.

He killed them EPICALLY. 'Cause that's what it said. Oddly enough, that misspelling of "especially" improved the story.

It's funny, in a story that is so obviously a power fantasy, the thing that really excites him is making other people weak and powerless. Says a lot about him, more then even the fetishising of violence.
